This hotel is a great location for those who want to escape the city. Guests can enjoy scenic views of the lake and mountains while lounging by the pool. the rooms are beautifully decorated with local Moroccan style and have modern amenities like billiards and babyfoot. Staff provides great service and mouth-watering food offerings onsite.
The hotel lacks outdoor lakeside dining options like the neighboring restaurant recommended by some guests.

This is a family home so bear that in mind since it can be noisy with children playng in the pool, table tennis and running around until 8pm ish - delightful as they were it rather precludes relaxing! Also corporate lunches are catered for and again this can be very noisy at lunchtime. However, on our last night we had the place to ourselves and that was very romantic as we had a candle-lit dinner overlooking the lake. There's very little shade beside the lovely pool since there are no parasols and few trees. The pool table is outside room African.... Two Frenchman played around midnight on our first night.
The breakfast is good but we would have expected fresh fruit to be offered alongside the very good bread, preserves, cheese and coffee. I think this villa is suitable for families or a stopping off point on the way to the mountains. The staff are delightful and ready to please........brush up on your french and pack some ear plugs!

Villa Du Lac is in a great location, it's very easy to get to from Marrakech, and has great staff. A wonderful place to spend a few days and totally recommended. We worried about getting there from Marrakech but it's easy - just take a grand taxi for 250 dirhams (about 12 GBP, 15 EURO) for 35 minutes and you are there! It's simple. The staff are excellent, the food was amazing, and the pool spectacular. We went for a wonderful walk at sunset over the rocky mountains, which was serene. We watched a movie of theirs in the evening after our delicious dinner that was included in the price (fresh salad followed by a chicken tajine). Just book this place and go and enjoy!!!
Everything was perfect, nothing was not to like! They could charge twice this price and it would still be a bargin!

The view of the lake and the warm pool were great features of this property. Plus, the hotel was conveniently located near tourist hotspots and transportation links. We also appreciated the friendly demeanor of the staff and the prompt service.
The menu options were limited and the food quality was below average, given the high prices. The hotel room needed better maintenance, with a malfunctioning loo and no cleaning service until requested. Additionally, there was no information provided regarding local attractions, making it difficult for us to plan activities. we were disappointed with our city break stay at this hotel.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem during our recent trip. The location was perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, right on the picturesque lake. The staff here exceeded our expectations in terms of service. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The hotel offered a range of amenities, including car hire and laundry services, making our stay even more convenient. The room itself was luxurious, with all the necessary amenities and a comfortable sitting area. The highlight, however, was the stunning terrace overlooking the lake, where we spent many peaceful evenings enjoying the breathtaking views. Additionally, the on-site restaurant served delicious meals and drinks, allowing us to indulge in a taste of local cuisine.
We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway.

Lovely retreat with stunning views
We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this charming hotel. The location overlooking the reservoir was breathtaking and the views of the mountains were impressive. The room was cozy and well decorated with traditional Moroccan elements. A nice touch was the delicious food offered by the hotel. One more advantage was the access to swimming and camel rides in the desert, which added to the overall experience.
there were no other dining options nearby and we had to rely solely on the hotel's restaurant. The lack of card payment facilities was an inconvenience, and we struggled to find a nearby ATM.
